Art. 1 The Cluj International Masterclasses 2024
The Notes&Ties Cultural Association (Asociația Culturală ”Notes&Ties”) and The Gheorghe Dima National Music Academy (Academia Națională de Muzică ”Gheorghe Dima”) are holding masterclasses for Flute and Clarinet entitled Cluj International Masterclasses 2024 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, between 19-24 July 2024, at Colegiul de Muzică ”Sigismund Toduță” (Str. Paris, nr. 60, Cluj-Napoca).
Art. 2 Registration
The masterclasses are open to flute and clarinet players worldwide.
Submitted applications must include the following documents:

* The participation fee includes masterclasses, accompaniment classes, complementary courses and free access to all concerts.

Art. 5 Official registration of the participants
Participants will register the masterclasses on July 19th, between 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Info Point in Cluj-Napoca (Colegiul de Muzică ”Sigismund Toduță” – Str. Paris, nr. 60).
Upon registration, candidates will personally confirm their identity using their ID or passport.

For works with piano accompaniment, we recommend selecting pieces from the Cluj International Music Competition 2025 repertoire (https://notesandties.ro/repertoire/)
Art. 8 Public performances and streaming
By entering the masterclasses the participants agree that the organisers reserve the right to photograph and record (audio & video) courses and concerts. These may be broadcast on radio, TV, or online without further permission given by the participants or their accompanists, who are not entitled to claim any remuneration for these recordings and broadcasts. Some selected participants will perform in the Gala Concert without a fee.
Art. 9 Diplomas
All participants will receive participation diplomas.
Art. 10 Travel and Accommodation
Travel, accommodation and all other expenses will be supported by the participants.
Art. 11 Visas
Participants requiring a visa to take part in the Cluj International Masterclasses 2024 are requested to organise this themselves. If a letter of invitation is required for visa purposes, participants may request this from the organizing team.
Art. 12 Insurance
The Cluj International Masterclasses 2024 is not responsible for the costs of participants’ illness and/or accidents during their stay in Cluj-Napoca.
The Cluj International Masterclasses 2024 is not responsible for the loss/theft of personal possessions/musical instruments from the area of the masterclasses.
Art. 13 Personal data
By registering for the masterclasses, participants agree to the storage and use of their personal data by the Notes&Ties Cultural Association (Asociația Culturală ”Notes&Ties”) for the purpose of organising the masterclasses.

ART. 15 Final provisions
In well justified situations, the organizer reserves the right to make changes to any aspect of the masterclasses.
Any integral or partial change to the place or time of the event will be announced in due time. This includes the possibility of moving the masterclasses online in case of force majeure, the enforcement of public events restrictions, restrictions on the movement of persons, or any other such measures enforced by government authorities for reasons of public health and safety.
